Use Any of Pines Green Superfoods for this Recipe

Pines became the original green superfood when we introduced Pines Wheat Grass in 1976.  Since then, we have added many more greens such as Pines Barley Grass, Mighty Greens, Green Duo and Alfalfa. You can use any of these dark green vegetable powders can for this and just about any other recipe. Since 9 out of 10 people do not eat enough dark green vegetables for the health protection they provide, Pines offers many convenient and economical ways to increase the greens in your diet.

Other green superfoods have copied our success but use inferior greens from old animal feed alfalfa mills. In addition, some of these facilities were built 60 years ago and are used most of the year to produce pesticide-based alfalfa for the confined-animal, factory-farming, mechanized meat industry. Pines is different.  Our facilities are modern. They were built and are used exclusively for certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified human foods.  As a result, we offer the only green foods that can be considered vegan friendly.

Avoid Green Superfoods in Plastic Containers or Packets

We are also the only company to package in amber glass bottles with special metal caps. Because of that, we can vacuum out the air and replace it with an oxygen-free atmosphere.  Removing oxygen is essential for keeping the nutritional level high during shipment, at warehouses and while the bottle sits on the shelf of a natural food store.  Further, after opening, our tight-fitting metal caps let you keep the product fresh between uses.  That is not the case for companies that have tried to copy us. Many use inferior greens packaged in plastic tubs or paper packets which provide absolutely no protection against oxidation and are only used to increase profits at the consumer's expense.   As a result, these products provide much less nutrition per serving and end up costing you much more for much less.

You can find any of our products on this website, but we encourage you to check out a natural food store near you.  Please use our store locator.
