Wheatgrass Pumpkin Pie

It’s the Holiday time of year!  Alice developed this pumpkin pie recipe as a festive addition to Holiday meals.  We all know pumpkin is a nutritious vegetable, but why not also green it up with some high-powered vegetable nutrition from Pines?  This wonderful recipe provides other great superfoods as well.  It’s great to eat pumpkin pie knowing that all the ingredients are good for you!



  • 1 can organic pumpkin puree
  • 2 organic bananas
  • 2 organic eggs
  • 1 cup organic coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 Tbl of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 4 Tbl (or less) agave, honey or maple syrup
  • 1-2 Tbl of a PINES organic green superfood

    Place ingredients in food processor. Put blended mixture into a 6″ x 8″ glass dish or 10″ pie plate, coated with a little coconut oil.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Allow to cool and then refrigerate until ready to serve.
