Basil Sweet Pea Spread with Barley Powder


  • 2 cups frozen sweet peas
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic
  • ½ cup fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons Pines Barley Grass Powder 
  • ½ cup cashew or macadamia nuts
  • ½ a lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black cumin
  • 2 tablespoons cashew milk


In a small pan, reheat the peas until warm throughout

In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend until smooth!

Use as a topping for toast, dip for veggies, creamy sauce for pasta (us ¼-⅓  cup of cashew milk if this is the case), on top of a roasted sweet potato, in a salad, etc!
