Grilled Pineapple Spears with Pines Beet Juice Glaze & Chocolate Glaze


Lara, a yoga teacher, developed this great antioxidant-rich dessert for us.

1 Pineapple
2 Tablespoons of Pines Beet Juice Powder
1 Cup Dark Chocolate, chopped and melted (can be vegan)
Coconut Flakes (unsweetened is fine)

Core and slice a fresh pineapple into spears. Brush a grill rack with vegetable oil or spray with a non-stick Grill spray. Heat your grill to medium high and grill the pineapple spears till they’re tender, a few minutes on each side.
Remove the pineapple and let it cool slightly. Dissolve the 2 tablespoons of Pines Beet Juice Powder in one cup of water. Brush the lightly grilled pineapple spears with mixture and then drizzle dark chocolate. Sprinkle with coconut flakes and serve!
