Design Award to PINES for Outstanding Packaging of Our Products
Pines Wheat Grass won a 2014 Packaging Design Award from Graphics Design USA! Not only is the new label very attractive, Pines is the only green super food company to package in oxygen-free amber glass bottles. These bottle use special metal caps that seal in an oxygen-free atmosphere in the bottle after the oxygen has been removed.
PINES is the only 100% organic and vegan-friendly producer of wholefood wheatgrass powder. Our commitment is to the environment and sustainable agriculture.
Plastic Containers have Poor Design and Do Not Protect Nutrients
Without oxygen, a green food product will maintain a good green color and nutritional quality for years. When a green super food is packaged in plastic tubs or paper/plastic/foil packets, it oxidizes. As a result of oxygen and humidity, a green product in plastic loses food value and color. That's why Pines Wheat Grass is bright green while so-called green super food products in packets or plastic tubs are often dull green or even brown, grey or yellow.
Pines Follow Standards Dating Back to 1937
Pines is the original wheatgrass company. We follow the growing harvesting and packaging standards established in 1937 by the father of wheatgrass. Charles Schnabel, established those standards after years of research. He then invented our predecessor product, Cerophyl. Cerophyl was a blend of wheat grass, rye grass, barley grass and oat grass. Schnabel's Cerophyl website shows the original product. It also shows the changes in the label for Pines Wheat Grass after first introduced it in 1976.
