Fathers and Everyone Needs to Eat More Dark Green Vegetables
We all want our fathers to live long and healthy lives. To ensure that, Father's Day is a good time to make sure Dad eats plenty of dark green, leafy veggies.
The diets of animals similar to us makes it clear: We need to eat plenty of greens. That's why the USDA has based its "MY Plate" on making vegetables the most important food in our diets. Further, research shows that those who eat plenty of green veggies live longer and have fewer degenerative diseases. Even so, nine out of ten people in the United States don’t eat enough of these health-giving foods.

Pines’ green superfoods provide convenient and economical ways to increase the green in your diet. Prepared in powders, tablets and capsules, they provide exactly what is lacking in most diets. A rounded teaspoon of powder or seven tablets equals a large serving of veggies such as spinach or kale.

Further, Pines is the ONLY vegan-friendly wholefood greens company in Kansas that is 100% organic. We have never produced pesticide-based feed for the meat industry. All our products are certified organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher and raw.
PINES is the only 100% organic and vegan-friendly producer of wholefood wheatgrass powder. Our commitment to the environment and sustainable agriculture spans more than 40 years. The Original Green Superfood Since 1976
As the original green superfood company, Pines follows scientific standards for cereal grasses and alfalfa. That's why for more than 40 years, Pines carefully follows the results of the research. After discovering the best way too grow, harvest and package these greens, scientists published standards in 1937. As a result, Pines follows the standards, including packaging all our products in amber glass bottles with special metal caps.
By doing that, we can remove the oxygen from each bottle to protect against deterioration by oxidation. Loss of nutrition and color occurs with plastic and paper packaging but does not occur with oxygen-free glass bottles. Further, unlike petrochemical plastic, earth-friendly glass does not pollute our environment. The special metal caps allow consumers to tightly seal the bottles between uses to keep the greens fresh and vibrant.
